Abstract

Paul Opler is a semi-retired professor of entomology in the Agricultural Biology department at Colorado State University (CSU). He is also the assistant director of the C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity on campus. Opler has authored over 200 books and papers on Lepidoptera. Materials include publications, drafts, galleys, logs, and audiovisual materials.

Abstract Richard W. Holland (1940-2013) was an electrical engineer and a noted lepidopterist. His focus was on butterfly and moth species in the American Southwest, northern Mexico, and Baja California, as well as several islands globally. Dr. Holland collaborated frequently with the staff at the C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity at Colorado State University where his extensive Lepidoptera collection resides.
